About Teen-Led Shabbat Services: First Friday of Most Months
All 6th-12th graders are welcome and
encouraged to join us for our teen-led service
and teen-only oneg. Spend your Shabbat with friends from BITY, NOAR, and all of CBI's youth to sing, pray, and enjoy a special shabbat experience. Following services we have our own Sweeet Shabbat Teen-Only Oneg in the Feuerstein Family Activity Center.
Often, we have a Shabbat dinner preceeding the service in the Chapel or we will have a holiday-related program following the service.
The Service is led by our Youth Director/songleader Jeremy Gimbel and Ben S., our Religious and Cultural VP on our BITY
Board 2008-2009.
Dinners before or the teen-only oneg
afterwards will always take place in the Feuerstein Family
Activity Center.
There is no fee for service and oneg. Occasionally for the dinner there is a minimal fee. Teen Services do count towards the B'nai Mitzvah Service Requirement as well as for the CBI Kavod Society.
