Bowling Fun! J2 enjoyed a great afternoon of pizza and bowling. CBI 4th & 5th Graders love the opportunities they get to hang out and do fun activities outside of Religious School. It's really a great way to connect with their Jewish Friends.
We scaled the walls at Solid Rock! J2 had a great time in November at our rock climbing adventure. We worked on trust, friendship, and confidence building as everyone made it up the steep walls of Solid Rock Gym. There were many smiles and proud moments to share with our J2 friends!
J2 loves the Ceramicafe! Our October event took us to Ceramicafe, a hit event from last year, that was equally as fun this year. We adventured out to Grossmont Center (a different location!) after our pizza lunch and playing on the field. We painted adorable ceramic masterpieces and then topped it off with ice cream cones on a sunny Sunday in San Diego. What could be better than that?
J2 First Event of the Year! - Rollerskating On September 23rd, J2 kicked off with their first event of the year– a super fun trip to Skateworld for rollerskating! After a pizza lunch on the CBI playground, and some get-to-know-you games, we hopped on the bus for a surprise stop to Coldstone, giving everyone plenty of energy to skate. Even though it was the 1st time for some of our J2 kids—just learning how to skate, everyone did a great job. A bunch of them even participated in the limbo contest! All the kids also bonded with Bree, our new advisor. She is super excited for the next event in October– Ceramicafe! Hope to see more of you there!
J²– A Great Time Was Had By All at The Ceramicafe We had a blast with J2 for our 1st event ever! J2 enjoyed lunch, playing on the field, and a fun bus ride to Ceramicafe in Del Mar. Everyone got to choose their own figure to paint. With friends, fun, and new memories to share. This was certainly a successful 1st event. And... it now holds the record as our largest event ever with 38 kids in attendance.
