Youth Choir Trip to Israel
July 2-13, 2008
Cantor Bernstein will be leading youth and teen choir members and their families on an amazing trip to Israel. The group will
be based in Jerusalem, and the itinerary will include concerts and cultural
activities, visits to the Galilee, Tel Aviv, Masada, and many other of Israel's
historic and holy sites. For more information about the youth and

50 Youth Choir Members Performed To A Full House For
One People, Many Voices Benefit Concert

More than 50 members of CBI's Youth Choir performed in One People, Many Voices, a concert held in June, 2006. The talented youth of Congregation Beth Israel raised thousands of dollars to benefit the Meir Shfeya Youth Village in Israel.
The Youth Village is a residential center that sets Israel’s disadvantaged
children on the path to a successful future.
Proceeds from One People, Many Voices will be used to provide musical instruments
for the newly completed music conservatory in this Galilee village. Meir Shfeya
does not own enough instruments for every child who wishes to play.
Cantor Arlene Bernstein is the musical director of the CBI Youth and Teen Choirs. “Music
often provides healing for the spirit. Playing a musical instrument can be a
powerful conduit for better communication, healthy self-esteem and a possible
gateway to a better life”, said Cantor Bernstein. That is why the children
of CBI hope you will help them raise money for this important project.
Sing A New Song: Your Voice is Wanted
Congregation Beth Israel offers opportunities for students to participate in choirs geared toward different age levels.
If you fall anywhere between the ages of 6ish to 120ish and you love to sing, join a CBI choir.

Our congregation has the rich treasure of a magnificent core of talented teenagers who can elevate your soul with their sound. Contact Cantor Bernstein if you're interested!
Youth Choir
The Youth Choir, comprised of singers in Grades 2 - 6, rehearses every Sunday that Religious School is in session. Pizza and juice will be served to youth choir members from 11:30 a.m.
- 11:50 a.m. Youth choir rehearsal will follow from 11:50 a.m.
- 12:35 p.m. in the Foster Family Chapel. Parents may pick up children at 12:35 p.m.
