Every child and family that has walked through her doors has been embraced and enhanced by her warmth and guidance. Join us for the Erev Shabbat Service, open to all, and RSVP for the dinner celebration online below, no later than Wednesday, May 29.

  • Jewish Geography Meet-Up

    Immediately following the Outdoor Erev Shabbat Service
    Enjoy our first summer Erev Shabbat Service in the Price Family Courtyard and follow it up with a chance to meet and schmooze with those from your original hometown. Look for tables labeled geographically with cities all the way from New York to Los Angeles and a home-grown table for San Diego natives. Bring-your-own dinner (perhaps something traditionally native to your past). We’ll provide beverages and dessert. No fee, but please RSVP at least one week in advance for planning purposes.

  • 7th Annual Shabbabeque!

    Check in: 5:30 p.m., Shabbat Service: 6:00 p.m., BBQ: 6:30 p.m.

    Music, food, friends and fun for all ages! Beth Israel members please bring your friends and family. We’ll enjoy an informal outdoor Shabbat service followed by a delicious BBQ dinner (included).
