Mount of Olives Lawns
at El Camino Memorial Park
The Beth Israel Cemetery & Mausoleum Association provides Jewish burial space
for members and their relatives. The Congregation owns burial space in an area
of El Camino Memorial Park in Sorrento Valley, which we call Mount of Olives
Memorial Lawns. The area has been open since
the fall of 1998.
The second memorial lawn area added in 1998
Mount of Olive Lawns is set in the serene beauty of rolling hills and grassy
slopes, and provide a comforting burial place in accordance with Jewish custom.
A polished granite memorial marker, reminiscent of Jerusalem stone, has been
selected for grave sites, and a State supervised endowment fund assures proper
perpetual care of both of our Mount of Olives Lawns.
To help you select and purchase space on a pre-need basis at either Mount of
Olives Lawn, call Nelson Cohen, at 858-452-5684. Pre-need purchases may be made
at a cost savings. If an at-need situation occurs, an El Camino Memorial Park
Family Service counselor is available at 858-453-2121 to assist you. Be sure
to tell the Counselor that you are a Congregation Beth Israel member and are
inquiring about the Mount of Olives Lawns.
