Nowadays, whenever we contemplate the value of our investment portfolio, or, diversely, the future of the Jewish people, more than likely we experience a certain amount of angst. Both have been in jeopardy for some time. Figuratively, our personal worth can be measured by how much we have invested in both entities, i.e., material wealth and the perpetuation of the Jewish faith.
