Robbie Turner has taught at Beth Israel since 1969. She grew up in Los Angeles. Her daughter, Sara, is a graduate student in biology at Purdue University.

Robbie had a traditional adult Bat Mitzvah several years ago. She has earned three masters degrees: in Child Development, in Curriculum and Development and in School Administration.

She is a kindergarten teacher at Vista Grande Elementary School in the San Diego Unified School District.

Hallie Tremaine Hallie Tremaine is new to Congregation Beth Israel and teaches kindergarten. She has been working and teaching children for over seven years. Hallie is originally from Colorado and graduated from San Diego State University. She fell in love with the area and decided she couldn't leave San Diego. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree she decided to continue on to law school, where she is currently in her first year. Hallie is thrilled to be working with the Kindergarten class at CBI.
