Tami Ivanir was born in Israel and got her teaching diploma there in 1986. Since then she has taught in Israel and in California, both in elementary and middle schools. For a few years in between, she was a counselor for youth groups as well as coordinator for cultural and special events. She loves art, sports, traveling, reading, and laughing. She strives to provide a learning environment which encourages the students to feel comfortable to express their opinions and encourages creativity and development of their natural curiosity for learning and understanding new things.  Her mission will be to integrate Jewish studies and prayers into their modern day young life in a fun and lighthearted way.
