The Lee and Frank Goldberg Family Religious School provides a complete Jewish education in a warm, nurturing environment that models, develops and inspires life-long commitment to Jewish values and the practice of mitzvot. Students become firmly grounded in the knowledge and understanding of Jewish culture, heritage, history and liturgical Hebrew. Emphasis on the study of Torah, worship and exploration of Jewish values guides learning in each grade. Our school environment provides a safe place to ask important questions and to act Jewishly. The program is designed to create a Jewish social environment that will encourage and build interpersonal relationships and contribute to a positive sense of belonging.
The curriculum includes Sunday morning classes for primary grade students in K-2, twice-weekly classes for grades 3-6 and once a week for grade 7. The B'nai Mitzvah program compliments the Religious School curriculum. Students will complete four years of Religious School prior to Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Beth Israel's High School offers a comprehensive educational program for students in grades 8-12, with Confirmation taking place in the 10th grade.
