Camp Beth Israel 2012

 SWINGIN' THROUGH SUMMER

  • Eight weeks of Camp from June 18 to August 10, 2012
  • 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., with extended program until 4:00
  • Monday through Friday OR Monday/Wednesday/Friday

Mondays will be filled with an excited weekly "special." Wednesdays are filled with art, water play and music.  Tuesdays and Thursdays will be good summer time fun.  Fridays will conclude with Shabbat.

    Our nurturing and experienced Bill & Sid Rubin Preschool teachers will staff the camp.  Camp Beth Israel is just one of many educational programs offered by Congregation Beth Israel.

    Extended day campers will enjoy some extra fun in the afternoons.  A Nap Room option for our youngest campers!

Shabbat

Our weekly Friday Shabbat celebration is an eagerly anticipated part of our camp week. Our Clergy will lead us in Shabbat prayers, song, and dance after Friday lunch. Family members are welcome to participate.
 

Erev Shabbat Services

Join us every Friday evening to welcome Shabbat with song, prayers and blessings. These services often feature notable speakers and the beautiful music of our Youth and Teen Choir, Adult Choir and Chai Band.

Early Childhood Education at CBI

Our programs for young children provide a warm, loving environment rich in Jewish culture, tradition and values. Our preschool and baby and toddler classes are nationally recognized and do not require CBI membership.

Shabbat Services

Most Saturdays Congregation Beth Israel holds Shabbat services in the mornings at 10:00 a.m. and afternoons at 4:00 p.m. in our beautiful Glickman-Galinson sanctuary. These services celebrate the Bar/Bat Mitzvahs of our members and are open to the entire community. Please join us and celebrate Shabbat!
