Men's Club Makes Latkes for Entire Congregation
Latkes Latkes Latkes
On Sunday, December 10, the men's club had their annual Chanukah Latke making cook off. They made about 500 latkes for all different groups in the Synagogue to share.

A big thank you to all who participated in this festive event. Your latkes will make for a yummy Chanukah Celebration.

Men's Club Special Donations

Many CBI members and programs directly benefit from Men's Club involvement and donations.

In April 2006, the Men's Club Board responded to a need of the Religious School Camp Fund and approved a donation. In addition, a contribution was made to support a Men's Club member's participation in a fundraising marathon benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The Men's Club has made a donation to provide lighting on the Kriah Holocaust Memorial Sculpture at CBI. The 12 foot tall, steel sculpture created by noted artist Laurie Gross, was dedicated in April 2004 and was made possible by Men's Club contributions.

The Men's Club has made a donation to help provide for the purchase of digital video equipment to receive satellite broadcasts of lectures, interviews, panels, and concerts, from the 92nd Street Y, in New York City. The Aleinu Committee will be presenting programs that will use this equipment.

Men's Club also makes donations to various CBI funds to honor or memorialize CBI members. These are just a few of the many donations Men's Club has made to assist our synagogue, its members, and programs, all of which have been made possible by the Club's dues paying members.
