The national elections are coming and, once again, we bring you esteemed UCSD professor of Political Science, Sanford Lakoff who will delve into the history of Jewish voting patterns and give insights into how this portends to the upcoming elections.

Let Us Entertain You: Yiddish to Broadway

Back by popular demand, Heidi Gantwerk and Andy Mayer will delight you with an all Jewish musical program combining everything from Yiddish to Broadway to Debbie Friedman with a little of Andy’s original music as well.

1st Tuesday, every other month, 1:30 p.m. 

We look forward to meeting new and old friends as we share the wonder we discover “between the lines.” We have limited openings for newcomers interested in regular attendance and leading book discussions.

Most Saturdays Congregation Beth Israel holds Shabbat services in the mornings at 10:00 a.m. and afternoons at 4:00 p.m. in our beautiful Glickman-Galinson sanctuary. These services celebrate the Bar/Bat Mitzvahs of our members and are open to the entire community. Please join us and celebrate Shabbat!
