Invitation to Join our Synagogue
Congregation Beth Israel welcomes all who seek to affiliate with a Reform Jewish synagogue. We are proud of our tradition of welcoming everyone, regardless of ability to contribute full dues. In consideration of the financial needs of the congregation, each member is asked to contribute a Standard Dues amount established annually by the Board of Directors.
We also have a group of generous members who support the congregation in an enhanced dues program called the Century Club. They make it possible for us to offer special dues categories to seniors (over 65) with a limited or fixed income, younger congregants just starting out, enlisted military personnel, and others unable to afford the full cost of membership.
Jews join a synagogue because it is the foundation stone for Jewish life in America. The synagogue is the place we turn to for our most meaningful moments in life, whether they are happy or sad. It is where we take our place in the community to which we belong.
Maintaining this vital institution financially is everyone’s sacred duty and we work hard to ensure that money is never a barrier to affiliation. We will work with you to help you find your own contribution comfort level.
