THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Lunch at 12:00 p.m.
Program at 12:30 p.m. (approx.)

What better time than Shabbat to reflect on Jewish spiritual wisdom and to become more centered and present? Attend our Shabbaton and learn some extremely effective Jewish stress-reduction remedies that will help you through a hectic day or a stressful moment. Dr. Leonard Felder is a bestselling author and psychologist who has appeared on numerous programs including Oprah and the Today Show.  He’ll explore with us how to stay healthy, resilient and mindful even when we are dealing with challenging work, home or social situations. You may be surprised how quickly these Jewish centering methods can help you or a loved one, even on days when you are feeling overloaded. This is something most of us never learned in Sunday School.

Dr. Felder has written 12 books on Jewish spirituality and personal health that have sold over a million copies, been translated into 14 languages, and received numerous awards. He is a popular speaker at workshops, Jewish book fairs, and temple events nationwide. He has also written for more than 30 magazines and appeared on 150 radio and television interviews. Dr. Felder’s book can be purchased in advance on Amazon and at Barnes and Noble in paperback or kindle/nook editions. He will happily sign books that you bring or that you purchase that day.

Fee for lunch only: $10 for Beth Israel members; $13 for nonmembers. This event postponed due to Dr. Felder's unexpected surgery. For more information contact Program Director Bonnie Graff / 858 535-1111, ext. 3800.
