CBI's New E-Newsletter Now More
User-Friendly
Our e-mailing members have probably noticed the recent improvements to CBI's
e-newsletter. Simply put, it's easier to use because it links to our Web site, www.cbisd.org,
and it's more timely prepared and sent on a weekly basis.
Each brief news item in CBI's e-newsletter features clickable links to the page
on our Web site where complete information about the program or service is available.
The e-newsletter's new design resembles CBI's Web site, and includes the Web
site's top navigation buttons. E-newsletter recipients can click on those buttons
to open up the CBI Web site and explore complete information on all our programs
and services, and then return easily to the e-newsletter.
"The new e-newsletter utilizes our synagogue's Web site as an asset," said
Emily Jennewein, CBI's Web Developer, who designed the e-newsletter with her husband
Chris Jennewein. "Beth Israel has one of the most comprehensive and up-to-date
Web sites of any synagogue in the nation. Our e-newsletter informs congregants
of upcoming events and then provides links to the Web site where complete information
about all of our programs and services can be found."
If you would like to join the 950+ Congregant families and nonmembers who receive updated news
and information about Congregation Beth Israel each week, please subscribe to
the e-newsletter by contacting
at
858-535-1111 ext. 3126.
The e-newsletter is FREE. The new e-newsletter features a small file size that
works with virtually all email systems without requiring subscribers to be sophisticated
computer users or to download attachments.
