Board Meeting Schedule
The CBI Board meets monthly, usually on the third Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m. Board meetings are open to members. Please contact Heather Taylor-Williams at 858 535-1111, ext. 3126 if you plan to attend.


Annual Meeting
The Congregation meets once a year to elect members to the Board of Directors and Nominating Committee,  announce and recognize our Volunteer(s) of the Year, thank retiring Board members, acknowledge our teachers, and hear remarks by our senior rabbi, Board treasurer, and Board president. The next Annual Meeting will be Thursday, May 19 with a reception at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting at 7:00 p.m.


Jenny Hill Bratt
jenny hill brattJenny Hill Bratt and her husband, Andrew, joined CBI in 2010, immediately after relocating to San Diego from New York City.  She is an attorney at DLA Piper, where she is a member of the firm's trusts and estates practice group.  

Jenny is an active member of the Glass Leadership Institute, a program sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League, and the Professional Advisory Committee of the Jewish Community Foundation.  Jenny also serves as a volunteer judge for mock trial tournaments at UCSD and appellate arguments at USD.

A native of Whittier, California, Jenny received her B.A. from UCSD, and her J.D. and LL.M. in taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law.  She is licensed to practice law in California, New York and Connecticut.  Jenny and Andrew currently reside in La Jolla.

Shabbat Services

Most Saturdays Congregation Beth Israel holds Shabbat services in the mornings at 10:00 a.m. and afternoons at 4:00 p.m. in our beautiful Glickman-Galinson sanctuary. These services celebrate the Bar/Bat Mitzvahs of our members and are open to the entire community. Please join us and celebrate Shabbat!
